I can't believe this...

I won this kit from http://www.knkclub.com/ Kit N' Kaboodles. Scrapscene was having a contest and KNK was a sponser and I won this yummy kit. I got lucky I just happened to check out the website on Scrapscene and enter the contest and Won. I guess You can tell I am pretty excited. Very Excited.

I won something

Well I won more than one thing this past week. At BackPorch Memories I won there Drive by blog challenge which I am getting a set of stamps. Yeah... Than I entered challenges at the crop over at My Sketch World and won a prize for a challenge that I did over there. I created this layout for Sue's Quote challenge "Spray of Laughter"

It is finally the weekend for me. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow.

I also have a few scrappy things that I want to do as well. I have been participating in the Wescrap Design Team Boot Camp and it is almost over with. We have one more final project to do which is a challenge to do our own online crop. I am in a group with 3 other wonderful ladies. Our crop name is going to be Red Hot Fiesta. It is going to be based on Cinco De Mayo. We are having fun with it. We have to have all of our stuff posted by the 30th of April but I hope to have it done by Tuesday at the lastest. This has been a fun experience if anything.

I have done quite a bit of scrapping this past week. I did online crops at My Sketch World and at BackPorch Memories. Next week Scrapattack is having an online crop as well as Wescrap. Which I will be checking out both of them to do some scrapping. I think I made about 20 layouts in the past week alone.

I colored my Aunts hair today. That was something that Christine would do for her. I have never done it before so I was a little scared that I would not do it right for her. She also brought me a box over that is supposed to go to my Father. It was from his Sister or My Aunt that lives in Illinios. He does not have contact with her. She sent the package to Christine house. Well it has been a while since I had talked to her because she said some Nasty things about different stuff. So I just cut my contact with her. Because no one deserves to be treated dirty for not doing anything.

Well she did not now that Christine had died. I feel bad in a way that she didn't know that it had happened but than again it was not really my fault. I tried to email her with the last known email addy I had. But it came back failed. So I went and googled her addy to look up her phone number and found it. So I called to let her know that Christine was no longer with us. She said why didn't anyone call me. And I said what was the truth. That I didn't think about anyone all I was doing was walking around in a cloud of disblief. So it felt nice to talk to her. I don't know but I thought about sending her a letter explaining why I was not having contact with her. That way I can get it off my chest.

Anyway other than that I have been relaxing most of my day.

Today was just one of those days. Nothing went right for me. It was a yucky day. I hate days like this. Hopefully the rest of my week will be okay. Here is to hoping anyway.

Just Get Dirty

I did this layout for the WeScrap Online Spring Crop they were having. This challenge was for a quote. I used the quote that said "In the spring at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt." ~Margaret Atwood~. This pic is of me the blond sitting in the front. Christine is sitting down as well and my brother Jeff. I love being able to scrap old photos from my childhood. Try to remember what we were doing. Were we having fun.
