Paper Loft March Sketch challenge

Today while on Facebook a status update popped up for Paper Loft.  Paper Loft is doing monthly sketch challenge.  I decided that I would dig out the paper I got from Tulsa CKC to use on this challenge.  I used the Funkysaurus line of paper on my layout of my son Alton being goofy.

Our Guest Designer will get a special badge and will have their projects featured on our blog throughout the month of May.

An end to a short month

So thankful that today is the end of February, lots of stressful things have happened this month that I will be so happy to leave behind.  One of the things that happened to me was I got served papers because of my ex-husband is in default on his house.  When we got divorced I left him with the house and quit claimed him my interest in the house.  I just wanted away, well big mistake because my attornery never said anything like this would come back on me.  After 10 years of being divorced my ex is still sticking it to me.  So I got another attornery not going back to the one that allowed this to happen.  Well I have two options and both of them stink but going Bankrupt is the best solution my attornery tells me.  The sad thing is I feel sorry for my ex how stupid am I.  He hasn't given me child support for almost a year which isn't much to begin with because he can't afford it.  He lost his job because of the economy and the new job he finally got pays him a 1/3 of what he used to make.

I had surgery Friday for a partial hysterectomy which stressed me out because I don't like hospitals and everything else that goes along with it.  The whole money issue of paying for the surgery having to be off work without earning money for seven days before my S&A benefits kick in.  Than hoping that I am fully healed when I get sent back to work and don't suffer complications down the line. 

Plus other little things popped up here and there but with these things going on I didn't feel like scrapping at all this month.  I did awesome the month of Janaury I got at least 10 layouts done so hopefully March will it has to be better.  I am going to make it be the best and get my scrapping on more this month. 

My baby is 15

Today my youngest celebrated his 15th Birthday.  Feel kinda of sad that he is growing up so fast but than I really enjoy seeing my baby turn into an awesome individual.  We treated him by taking him to Fuji's, a Japenese steakhouse he loves that place because they put on a show while cooking your food.  I love you Alton..

I have tried to scrap the last few days but just don't really have the mojo for scrapping. I thought with the new challenges at Colorful Creations I would whip through some layouts but haven't been able to do it. I only have done 2 of them out of 6 that I thought I would have done. Some of it is that I get old scrapbook kits out trying to use up and just don't know what to do with it. Than the other part is I just don't like the limits I feel like the challenge is putting on me. Maybe tomorrow after work I can get a page done

 

 

Colorful Creations...

A new month of challenges have been posted over at Colorful Creations.  If you haven't joined there site click the link on the side of my page to join today.  You will get plenty of scrapping done with these ladies besides the monthly challenge they have they also do bi-weekly ones as well. 
I am off this weekend so I am planning on working on several of the challenges they have posted. 

This weekend is also my son Alton 15th Bday so I hope that I can get lots of great pics of him and family.  Today I took him lunch and a cookie to school.  Love being able to do that for my kids.
